Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and they are sent to partners around the world where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. FMSC food has reached more than 70 countries. To learn more about FMSC, follow this link to an informative video. Woodbury is hosting one of the largest mobile pack events with the goal of packing 4 million meals this October. Area churches, including our own, along with community leaders, businesses and organizations are working together to raise $880,000 (cost of sending 4 million meals) and the 20,000 volunteers it is going to take to pack all of these meals. As an added benefit, 10% of the money raised from this event will be going to the Christian Cupboard. We are feeding the hungry overseas and also in our own backyards. Visit woodburyfeeds.org for more information.

It is our hope that not only will families sign up together (Children age 5 and up), but that you would be praying about a friend, a neighbor, or a co-worker and their families to join you. It’s the perfect opportunity to invite someone into our community of believers!
