CRC Announcements for week of August 6, 2012
“Family Meeting” (i.e., CRC Members Meeting) Our first CRC members meeting - what we’d like to call “Family Meetings” - will follow the Sunday Service NEXT SUNDAY, August 12. This will be a pot luck style meal. If your last name starts with A-L, please bring a main dish to share. If your last name starts with M-Z, please bring a side dish to share. Remember to bring your own serving utensils. Thank you so much, CRC members, for making this a priority!
Summer Fellowship Meals Our next Fellowship meal is TODAY. 4:30pm. Carver Lake Park in Woodbury. Not Ojibway this time, but Carver Lake. Bring your own food and enjoy one anotherʼs company. Bring a favorite lawn game if you have one. Bring a blanket and/or chairs. Think B.I.G. Enjoy.
Monday Night Basketball The next menʼs basketball game in the Footprints gym is TOMORROW, August 6. 6:30-8:30pm. Please bring a few dollars to offset the cost. Please also bring both a light and dark colored shirt, and non-marking shoes if possible.
Hear From Missionaries Serving in the Middle East All are welcome to the home of David and Amy Worth on Wednesday, August 8, to hear from missionaries serving in the Middle East. 6:30-8:30pm.
Woodbury Days Booth Our church will have a booth at Woodbury Days, August 24th-26th. We’ll need to staff the booth with volunteers on Friday evening, all day/evening Saturday, and Sunday during the day. Volunteer sign-up sheets for the booth are outside the gym. Please consider spending a couple of hours reaching out to our community.
